Insert Art Here...

This week I started three different projects, and finished none.  You ever have weeks like that?

You may not know this about me, but I'm air-headed. It's bad. But I manage it.

For instance, I'm always walking into things. On several occasions I've poured my sugar packet onto the counter and put the paper packet into my coffee.  I grocery shop and leave all of the groceries in the trunk. Overnight. Speaking of groceries, I once took someone else's cart, and didn't realize it until they made an announcement over the loud speaker.

I could go on. But then you'd never come back. Or have me committed.

My son, along with several others, derives much happiness in pointing out my handicap. And at other times, he seems genuinely concerned about me. Either way, there's a point to me telling you this.

Although I wasn't particularly productive this week for blogging purposes, our house is still fairly new, so I moved some furniture around, bought a couch, shoveled a lot... and at some point I found an old frame in the basement, and hung it on the wall in the dining room, to keep it off the floor, but to remind me that I wanted to paint it.

I went out for a couple of hours and came home, the frame completely forgotten.

When I walked through the dining room, my son had done this:

Helpful isn't he? And so funny too. And grounded.

LOL - I love it! Your kids are trying to guide you gently through your blond moments (or into your senior moments?) Mom :)

Too funny! I'm dreadfully air-headed, so I can relate. My husband's favorite thing is making fun of me, and the kids are just getting old enough to start doing the same. Hey, at least we can make them laugh a little. :)
