Painted Glass Jars and Bottles

painting glass, painting mason jars, how to paint glass

They're everywhere! And it's a rainy day, so what's a girl to do?

Gather up a bunch of bottles and jars and paint them of course. A couple of them I painted and sanded. And a couple I poured the paint in them, and swirled. Voila.

What have you been up to?

Hi Julia!
I would love to do this to decorate my kitchen countertop, they look fantastic! Did you use acrylic paint?

Hi Sherri, thank you! It was something to do on a rainy day! Thanks for stoppying by! Julia

Elba, I used behr indoor/outdoor paint. The shiny jars I just poured the paint in and swirled for full coverage. The matte jars I painted the outside and just distressed them. You can use any paint you have on hand!

You just can't put them in the dishwasher, or drink out of them! :)
